Magical
If I already wasn't already having a magical time on vacation, it only got better!
Sevilla is truly a magical city. Not only is it filled with ridiculously good looking people, but it really is the epitome of Spanish culture.
The sun was setting as our trusty caballo (horse) Lucero led us through the streets of Sevilla. As we entered the Plaza de Espana (and I finished my fruit snacks) he said he had more candy for me. He pulled out something wrapped in foil and said it was a Certs. I laughed, "why? Does my breath stink that bad?" The driver was pointing out points of interest so when I turned around he had a ring in his hand and asked, "Cecille, will you marry me?"
Of course I accepted! I didn't cry at first but a few minutes later as the ride went on, he was telling me that he feels God brought us together. I cried because I whole-heartedly agree -- call it God, call it shoes -- I know I believe in magic.

We arrived in Sevilla a little later than planned, so we had to make a reservation for the late 10pm Flamenco show. To kill time, E decided we should do the horse carriage ride through the city.Honestly I was hungry and wanted to get tapas but I remembered I brought fruit snacks in my purse! I thought he meant all 4 of us (his brother and cousin were with us) but he wanted it to be just us.

Sound of the Ocean
I'm here in Rota, Andalucia waking up to the sound of the waves crashing at Ed's cousin's condo. Can't help but thinking LML.
We're heading out to Sevilla for a day trip today. Might wear the Loubs tonight to a Flamenco show. :)

Not sure they want to be here...
So a couple of mishaps with our little pair of shoes so far...
I am carrying them in my hand carry bag and somehow Ed missed transferring the bag into his dad's car that we took to the airport. His dad and Nelson drove all the way back to Atwater to retrieve the bag from his car.
The second incident happened while we were at the currency exchange* I was so preoccupied with putting my money away, I thought Ed was rolling the bag but really - I left it my the booth. Oops! Ed made land speed record to go get my bag and luckily it was there unharmed. ***phew***
There is a child screaming in the airport so who can type right now?

It's October!
It's October and it's supposed to be my month, but I haven't made the effort to get the shoes. I can't wait to leave on my vacation to Spain and hopefully the shoes will bring some magic!
I'm still waiting for the other girls to retell their shoe stories on the blog.
More to come...
